My name is Makayla Lynn Malin, I am an illustrator with a focus in sequential art. Ive always had an overwhelming love for art ever since I was a kid. Ive always said that “if i can't do what i love for work, then i dont wanna work at all.” 

 

I find art to be experimental no matter the medium, as no art peice has ever or will ever be perfect. Imperfection is one of the things that makes art art, and arguably what makes us human; and I take that into my work alot. My work is primarily in digital, with a variety of things I draw ranging from character designs, graffiti, pattern design, and realistic renders with cartoonish flare. 

 

My main focus in art however is sequential art, comics in specific; with a big love for abstract themes and ideas. The biggest thing I love when creating is the creation of new stories, concepts, and characters to being able to share to the world.
